Integrated AntiAging Therapy
Beauty from Within...!
Thanks to the constant improvement of medical treatments and hygienic conditions in the past century, society has been able to almost double general life expectations. At the beginning of the past century, turning 80 was considered more than simply an exception, whereas today the vast majority of the population in the industrialized countries reaches 80 and the number of the over-100’s is constantly increasing. This new situation means that medical treatments must rise to new challenges. Old-age diseases which were rarely diagnosed and treated in the past receive extensive attention today and have become part of routine medical practice. Above and beyond these purely medical essentials, the needs of the older generations have also changed. In the past the “infirmities of old age” were accepted as a fact of life; today on the other hand people expect their bodies to work optimally even in old age, and they want to look young for as long as possible.
Though this is far from a new trend – even in the Middle Ages people searched for the “elixir of eternal youth” – modern medicine has only recently focused on this problem. Especially in the last decades, aesthetic medicine has specialized increasingly in the optimization of treatments and therapies which can at least maintain the physical appearance of a person as it was at a younger age. The wrinkles due to age can be treated with subcutaneous injections; excess skin and the impurities of the skin can be eliminated, and excess fat can be removed, and these are just some the options out there. However, we wonder whether these cosmetic interventions are the only methods available to keep us looking young: Could not a more comprehensive treatment prove more effective for ensuring long-term success?
